Midlothian Snowsports Centre (Hillend)Midlothian Snowsports Centre at Hillend, Edinburgh boasts of being Europe's longest snowsports facility. There are two main slopes and a fun slope for snowboarding, ski-ing and blading. They have a chairlift and two drag tows and the facility is floodlit for winter evenings. They have recently added a catering facility, cafe 360, serving soup, snacks, coffee etc. From the middle station down the main slopes have a misting system to take the stickyness out of the surface.
