Blown out waves

Anyone know of any good S or SE facing beaches on the east coast (south of aberdeen) which pick up on a big northerly swell?

This weekend looks like being huge but most spots east of Edinburgh are likely to be blown out. Thinking about a trip north possibly to the Kindom of Fife! Anyone surfed Anstruther before?

Nah. We didn't get in after all! We decided to head east and visited Seacliff-big and v. messy, Dunbar- too small, Thorntonloch- nada, then on to Pease then Coldy. Massive waves there but no shape at all.
We did see one guy venturing out tho- he got sucked right over to the left of the beach after paddling frantically for about 15 mins then got washed right into the rocks.

A colleuge managed to get decent surf further down the coast in englandshire tho.

Blown oot!

You probably won't get any beach on the east coast this weekend that's not blown out.
I'm going to try Sandend cause it's kind of West facing, Machrihanish will be good though if you can be bothered with the journey.
