Glenshee in Gaelic (Gleann Shith) means Glen of the Fairies apparently! It has 20 lifts; 2 chairlifts, 15 pomas and 3 T-bars serving ski-ing and snowboarding over four mountains and three valleys. The terrain is good for beginner and intermediate riders and Glenshee wisely have invested in snow making machinery to top up that which nature provides. A management buyout by Glenshee Ltd. rescued the facility from receivership in 2004.
