Lecht 2090The Lecht claim to have 20 pisted runs (7 green, 7 blue, 5 red, 1 black) though I can't think where they are hiding some of them. They have a permanent funpark with half pipe, gap jumps, log slides, table tops and if there is tons of snow then this may be extended. Having said that, I've never been there when there has been enough snow to make the park. It is a small, probably Scotland's smallest, ski/snowboard centre - it wouldn't take much more than a day or two to ride every inch of the hill but often the lecht has snow when others are toiling to open anything. Perhaps a benefit of the place being small is that you can split up and meet up again very easily! Although it seems like snow in Scotland is less and less plentiful as the years go on, the Lecht continue to demonstrate their faith with recent investment in a chairlift, a half pipe cutter and a new cafe / shop / hire centre (which is actually quite nice). A day pass is around 22 pounds - students get a fiver discount or so - and they do equipment hire though this is notoriously slow. You may be better to hire from a local shop to maximise the value of your day pass. Discuss the lecht, post comments and answer others questions in the Lecht 2090 Forum. Location
