Stuff about me, helped written by Colin ReidHello people, I thought I would jot a few words down about nothing in particular. I tryed skating last year on a ramp in Elgin cause a friend of mine (Sarah Rollo) asked me to join her on the girls night, nothing ventured nothing gained I thought and it was super dooper!!!!!! The prob came when at Christmas the boys ended up coming down on a monday too which was a bit weird. After a couple of weeks though the mix of experienced skaters and the girls really worked. Not exactly friends but it was lovely to have a few new faces to say Hi to in the pub. Then for a mixture of reasons the ramp had to close and it wasn't till that night that I realiased that I was going to miss it all. Seeing the guys doing there thing on the ramp, seeing the girls slowly getting better at the straight foward skating thing and the buzz I was getting from slowly getting better at dropping in, and the thing is I think the skating helped my snowboarding. I didn't really get up the hill much this year cause I had a big trip to NZ this year with friend Colin Reid and boyfriend Andy Jones, the trip was +++ great. Anyway I got up the hill only once this year and i think because of the skating my snowboarding has inproved no end. I can now get down a hill on both edges with the tinest amount of skill, ie if someone falls in front of me I can avoid a crash, I love snowboarding, the hot chocolate is always fab, he he. As for other activities listed above I have been known to play in the woods with a mountain bike but nothing too silly and Andy has taken me Surfing once or twice but to be honest its too bloody cold in the north east of Scotland and I look like a fitting seal in a wetsuit. Take care have fun and be as safe in all you do is is possible but still have fun. Love Susan xx By susan at 23/06/2006 - 23:39 | Site | susan's blog | login or register to post comments | 318 reads
