Sandend is a wee sleepy seatown with one of the laziest paddle outs in the world. Just a stroll along the shit pipe gets you out back with dry hair. Once in the water - making sure it's around low tide, either on way out or in - use of the rip next to rocks also ensures hair stays dry. Don't want to waste that expensive hair product. Peaks shift as this is a beach break, both lefts and rights, the best of which are found conveniently next to the express rip - your hair is looking good, you're looking good.
