Lossiemouth - the Jewel of Moray. Famous for the wedge and low tide river mouth both mainly lefts with the odd hellman right to be had. A short walk or tiring paddle down the beach brings you to various shifting peaks. Beware the grip of the Moray rip. Local amenities are campsites, public toilets, cafes and ice cream.
Pubs of note are the Skerrie Brae (good food, coffee, pool table and views) and the Steamboat (good jukebox!).
When swell fails there is always plane spotting (RAF base just on the edge of town) and golf.
