Best surf in Scotland?y'all, we need to get some surf info up in the places reference section of this site about where to surf in scotland.... so i'm gonna pose a question and then from the results (name of place, why you like it) we might have a consensus of at least where to start, yes? ok...
If you have the time and the knowledge it would be really cool if you could use the next ten minutes or so to check if your local / favourite breaks are in our nascent surf breaks database. If they are not, add spots you are willing to share or if they are already there, suggest edits or add your experiences or comments. sewage pipesaccessible pastime if you don't mind sewage eh? what about surf e.g. near edinburgh - pease bay or coldingham bay. over at machrahanish? or moving up the east coast, st. andrews, lunan bay, stonehaven, aberdeen, peterhead, fraserburgh. and then sandend and lossie which you mention. up north, where is there? thurso, durness? and islands, where is great? where is accessible (bridges / boats)? orkney and shetland, lewis, skye, islay. where is missing from this list? what are the individual breaks which are worthy of being singled out? |

it's not the best but...
Lossie and Sandend in North East Scotland are certainly not the best but nice and easy to get out back. ie a nice little walk along a wall, harbour or sewage pipe.
